Chad Doty - Accomplished Real Estate Investor
An experienced real estate investor and co-founder of 37th Parallel Properties in Richmond, Virginia, Chad Doty has established himself as a leader in commercial multifamily real estate. After completing his bachelor of general science in Philosophy at the University of Kansas, he went on to become a senior systems analyst and consultant with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting. Three years after joining the company, Chad Doty accepted an offer to become a senior manager, in which capacity he led development of Andersen’s m-commerce solutions practice in the United States. In addition to earning certification in the Andersen Architected Solutions methodology, he consistently exceeded performance targets and received the Manager Sales Achievement Award in 2000-2001.
Following a brief stint as the PMO director of Whitlock EBS and Trilegiant Loyalty Solutions, Doty joined the international professional services firm Smart and Associates, LLP. As the director of the company’s IT transformation practice, he worked closely with a Fortune 500 chemical manufacturer to optimize and re-implement the company’s SAP projects environment. He also conducted benchmarking and IT operations analysis for a major oil logistics company and oversaw a revenue target of $5 million.
Today, as chief executive officer of 37th Parallel Properties, Doty oversees all business operations at the income-focused asset management and real estate investment firm. He holds responsibility for multifamily assets in Louisville, Kentucky, and several major urban centers in Texas. In terms of target acquisition strategy, he and 37th Parallel seek to acquire over 500 commercial multifamily units in stable primary and secondary markets every year.
